Zee TV’s new show Main Hoon Saath Tere will take viewers through the difficult journey of single mother Janvi and highlight the sacrifices she must make as both parent and provider for her son Kian in Gwalior. Their bond may seem close but Kian experiences his fatherless existence more for himself than for Janvi; adding further complications to their lives when Janvi meets affluent businessman Aryaman whom she meets after agreeing to work under one roof together.

Ulka Gupta as Janvi
Ulka Gupta, best known for her role in Jhansi Ki Rani, will play Janvi, a 25-year-old single mother from Delhi who personifies strength and determination among mothers. A perfectionist at heart, Janvi strives to give Kian the best life possible despite financial challenges, social stigma, or a lack of support from her family. Karan Vohra from Imlie will play Aryaman – an ambitious businessman aged 27 who longed for the love of his father since childhood but never found him.
Ulka Gupta recently opened up about returning to Zee TV and about her character and show, noting “Coming back is like coming home for me. For the first time ever I am playing the role of a mother – one raising their child solo!- which I find immensely fascinating and am really looking forward to exploring it further. In doing this I want to pay my tributes to all mothers out there.”
